How to apply

Attend our Open Day – Autumn Term.
Complete and submit your online application – December.
Attend taster lessons – Spring Term.
Attend an interview and receive your offer – Spring Term. You must attend an interview to receive an offer.
Accept your offer.
Attend Induction – Summer Term.
Enrolment – August with your GCSE results.

Please note: you do not officially have a place at Ernest Bevin Academy until you have completed this enrolment stage. Students who have completed the steps above and have been made an offer will have a higher priority.

16-19 Bursary Information

Bursary Policy 2022

The 16-19 Bursary Fund is to provide financial support to disadvantaged students to ensure they remain within education.

After meeting the eligibility criteria, in order to receive payments from the Bursary Fund, students must meet set criteria on attendance and punctuality, standard of work and behaviour.

Payment of bursaries – Payment will be made electronically into eligible students’ own bank accounts.
