At Ernest Bevin College we recognise the importance of working with parents and carers to ensure the very best for all pupils in the college. The College uses the My Ed app as the main way of sending information home. Please download the app by clicking the link below.
My Ed app– App for your smart phone with general information about the college and details unique to your child. Please note from September 2019 the My Ed app is the main and only means by which the College sends home reports and other important information for parents. It is therefore vital that every parent downloads the app and are registered on My Ed to receive updates from Ernest Bevin College about your child.
Important Message: In-App Messages
Update: Monday 25th November
All old messages are coming across to new version.
Update: Saturday, 23rd Nov, 14:18
The latest version of the app is live and being downloaded by parents.
We are aware that when they download the latest version all of their past messages will have been removed from the app. We will be working to restore these in the coming days.
Update: Friday, 22nd Nov, 19:23
This afternoon we were made aware of an issue with the in-app messaging system, where less than 0.7% users may have received duplicate or incorrect messages.
Please note that text (SMS) and email were not affected by this incident.
Following investigation, we have made the decision to disable access to the My Ed app in order to work on a fix and prevent further inconvenience to users. The following message will be sent to all My Ed app users:
“My Ed App Update. You may have noticed an issue with the My Ed App this afternoon. We’re working on an update and will send you a new notification when it’s ready. We thank you for your patience and will be in contact again shortly. My Ed Team.“
The team are continuing to work on this fix as a matter of urgency and further updates will be published here over the weekend.
Once again, we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this has caused.
The PS Connect Team.
