Sixth Formers leaving Ernest Bevin Sixth Form are well placed either to, continue their education, or to enter the workforce.

Each year 100+ of our leavers go on to university, with approximately 20% going to Russell Group universities and two-thirds to study STEM (Vetenskapsteknologi och matematik) subjects. Students who choose not to go to university are also well placed on leaving either going on to apprenticeships, other educational establishments, or to enter the workplace.

Destinations 2020

Out of a cohort of 155 leavers

127 have accepted a place at university

Science is the most popular course and University of Westminster is the most popular institution

14% of students have places at Russell Group universities including Durham University, King’s College, Bristol, UCL, Nottingham, Queen Mary’s, Sheffield University, Newcastle University, University of York and University of Glasgow

Fifteen students will study Engineering, 11 students Economics, 10 Computer Sciences and 7 students have a place to study Architecture. Other students are also studying Dentistry and Medicine.

A number of students are starting apprenticeships (tbc) in a variety of different disciplines ranging from Mechanical Engineering to Cyber Security

The college continues to support all leavers with subsequent applications, advice and references well beyond the time they leave college.
