At Ernest Bevin College we recognise the importance of working with parents and carers to ensure the very best for all students in the college. Success is best achieved by a 3-way partnership between the college, the student and their families.

There are a number of ways we aim to support families throughout the year. As well as regular parents evenings and termly reports to keep parents informed of academic progress, the pastoral care system is organised to build partnerships from the beginning of Year 7.

The tutor’s role is to ‘champion’ boys in his or her tutor group and the Head of Year also plays a part in looking after the stude ts in their year group. If you have a concern or question about your son, his tutor or Head of Year is the first point of contact. You can send them a message in your son’s planner or telephone the college and leave a message for them. Please note most teachers will be teaching during the school day and so you will need to leave a message and they will call you back when they are free.
