Message from Mr Lee, Head of Green Ties

We are delighted that you have accepted a place for your son to start at Ernest Bevin College in September. I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as your son’s new Head of Year. I have worked at Ernest Bevin College for a number of years as a Head of Year. My main focus for Year 7 is to ensure that all the pupils in my care have a smooth transition from primary school and that they make an excellent start to their secondary education.

I know you will have lots of questions before your son joins us in September 2020 and we are very much looking forward to welcoming you into the college community. As you know, schools across the country are currently closed and so we are not able to confirm dates with you for the next steps of our induction process. However, please be assured we will be in touch in the near future and will be working behind the scenes to ensure the process by which we welcome your son is as thorough as in any other year.
