The Performing Arts department plays a vibrant role in college life. Students have the opportunity to learn a musical instrument, join a number of bands and take part in the popular shows put on in the winter or summer terms in addition to music and drama curriculum lessons.

All students in KS3 (jierren 7, 8 & 9) have two Performing Arts lessons per week which combines Drama, Dance and Music. Students have the option to continue with Drama or Dance in Key Stage 4.

We also offer music tuition (£8 per 30 minute lesson) to any student who wishes to learn an instrument and boys are encouraged to take their Grade exams and join the college bands. Each year we have a number of students who successfully pass their Trinity Music exams in a variety of instruments and grades. Any student interested should speak to Mr Kilner and collect an application form.
