EBC was awarded Confucius Classroom status by the Confucius Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine at London Southbank University in 2012. The award has great practical benefit to the college with a teacher of Mandarin and Chinese culture based here at Ernest Bevin. It has also led to annual trips to China for groups of Sixth Form students.
